No More Fighting for the Armrest

There are many public places where we have no choice but to share an armrest with a complete stranger.  Often times, enjoyment and use of the armrest is a matter of first come, first served.

Stop fighting. Sit back. Relax. And enjoy!

Justin Lee was inspired to change the norm while sitting in a crowded lecture hall; he had “a sudden realization there is a better way to use space more efficiently so that no one needs to fight for an armrest.”  The Paperclip Armrest was born.

Patents for the Paperclip Armrest have been granted in the USA and UK, and are pending in a number of other countries and regions.

The concept is simple – add another dimension to the armrest so that there are two (2) levels, providing the opportunity for use by both people.

The Paperclip Armrest comes in multiple shapes to work with various design aesthetics.

PaperClip Design is more than happy to provide additional information and/or to discuss licensing.

The concept has won a number of high-profile international design awards, including the Crystal Cabin Award, Red Dot Award, Good Design Award, and the A’ Design Award.
