Like any indoor space, an outdoor space is not complete until you’ve accessorized and added your own personal touch and flare.

I am not generally a fan of bird houses, but this one is a piece of art. Designed by New York-based L.E.FT, the limited edition Bird House was created from 2,500 stray brass bullets collected from Lebanon-area hunting zones. The piece is meant to evoke the “uncertainty of life during the tough times that war brings.” I imagine that, over time, the house would develop a stunning patina.
The Willow planter works equally well indoors or out and would suit even the smallest balcony or patio.
Aptly inspired by the willow tree, the Willow Planter was designed by Louise Hederström for Nola. The various openings simulate branches and sprout potted plants. The opening at the top can be used as an additional planting space. Alternatively, utilize the wooden disc that comes with Willow to create an extra seat or a small table.

I love this update to the picnic table from Scout Regalia. Made with FSC-certified redwood and accented with enamelled aluminum – available in an astonishing 210 colours!! – the table and bench add both a pop of colour and an edge to any space. The patio garden planter includes a drainage textile made of 40% post-industrial recycled content to help drain soil.
The olive wood cylinders on the ends have a pattern carved into them that breaks up the heaviness and lets light pass through. The pattern in the wood is in the shape of olive leaves.
Of course, an outdoor space is incomplete without some sort of lounger. Though I wouldn’t dream of keeping the Star Lit daybed (by Baldessari e Baldessari for Starpool) outside on a regular basis, how fabulous would it be for lounging outside?
