Sitting by the Dock of the Bay

The Shore Vista Boat Dock was completed in 2011. How I would love to do morning yoga on the lower deck as the sun rose and the water cascaded down from above…

I’m daydreaming looking at this photo.  It shows the Shore Vista Boat Dock, which is located on a bend in Lake Austin, Texas, across from the Canyonland Nature Preserve.

Rendered plans and elevations.

Designed by Bercy Chen Studio, LP, the 1,600 square foot space is elliptical to maximize the views and features a stunning wrap-around upper deck with built-in water feature.

Though private, the space was kept as open as possible to highlight the views.

There is also a very comfortable looking enclosed entertaining space.

Plenty of room for friends to mingle and relax. The Big Ass Fan (yes, that’s the name of the company that supplies the fan) will more than keep the room cool.

All photography by Paul Bardagjy and Ryan Michael.

I love that you can still see the lake and hills through the structure.
