BLIKxBMD

The Peacock, designed by Nabila Amarsy (from the BLIKxBMD gallery).

I love the bold, graphic patterns Blik offers with its wallcovering options.  And Bruce Mau‘s designs are always inspiring.  So I was thrilled when I read that Bruce Mau Design (BMD) and Blik have partnered to create an online design-your-own-Blik application!

Boom, designed by Nick Crampton (from the BLIKxBMD gallery).

The BLIK X BMD line uses alternatives to traditional PVC sources, making the wallcoverings more eco-friendly without sacrificing the quality of the design, the print, the overall durability of the wallcovering, or its ease of application.

Blik & White, designed by Elvira Barriga (from the BLIKxBMD gallery).

BMD created a library of dynamic letter forms.  Blik’s website promises:

“The process is simple: Create your own message, choose your preferred shapes, and then customize your design to suit your own personal aesthetic.”

Infinite Alphabet, designed by Andrew Phillips (from the BLIKxBMD gallery).

Go have some fun and play online to create your own unique wallcovering!
